30 count- Desoria Trispinata “Blue Velvet” Chicago, IL (UV Light Fluorescent)

Description: Yet another species I acquired from Springtails US stock. This particular Desoria Trispinata “Blue Velvet” is a locale endemic to Chicago, Illinois. A cool fact about this species: they fluoresce under ultraviolet lighting. Visually, they are a muted indigo blue in coloration and are very active. They prefer humid setups and will do well in such conditions. 

Disclaimer: I keep them in a mixture of soil, white rotting wood, crushed eggshells, sphagnum moss, and leaf litter.
